Help with these fabric scissors?!?

Are they new? Are you right handed of left handed? Fabric scissors are designed for the hand you will cut with. Or they could be dull as the other poster said because they are old or have been used to cut paper and everything else. I have personally never had good luck with home use sharpeners. There should be someone in your area who sharpens knives and scissors. Or just go to the fabric store and get a fresh pair of heavy duty Fiskars. Then keep them exclusively for cutting fabric.
