What to use in an essay instead of "you?"?

A sentence can almost always be written without you. That was an example...I could have written "You can always write a sentence without you." Just look at how to turn them around. Other examples: You should buy paper at the store.....Buy paper at the store. Just work on it. Most teachers will not allow you in an essay so it's a skill well learned. (And be glad your teacher won't allow "you." It's so stuffy sounding and gets ridiculous.)
