as an egyptian you don't need a visa. you will be stamped in the airport as syrians do. all 21 Middle eastern countries are like this that they don't need a visa to Syria. now to go by bus, you will have to take the ferry from Alexandria to Lattakia or Tartous. 100% by bus is impossible without the ferry.
