Dream Interpretation?

I was in my apartment room talking with someone on my phone. It was night and the only light in my room was coming from the corridor outside. The window is fairly large and it was open and the screen was removed. (As it is in real life). I glanced behind me and noticed that some... thing... was trying to get inside. It was hooded and had no eyes. Think of a dementor from Harry Potter except less scary. It was quietly trying to come inside but once I saw it and tried pushing it back it got aggressive. I remember feeling panicked because I just couldn't push it out and screamed at it "HEY HEY" so loud that I actually yelled that out in real life. I had broken up with my fiance that day and when I woke up from the dream I was crying for him to help me. What can this mean? Ever since that dream I've kept having bad ones and waking up with a racing heartbeat for the past two months and my relationship is on the rocks.
