Can you patent or trademark a totally new design of an old, very common product ? "Invention" idea?
My idea will make the common product much more user friendly by itself, and will also take away the need to purchase a second product that is often bought, to make the first product easier to use. But my version will be much easier to use than even when you had bought both products. The first product will be used from a totally different angle. The second product will be included, just by using the first, with my added twists. The first product will have the same basic usage, but much enhanced. Is this a product that I can capitalize on? It will be cost effective. It will barely cost more than the common product. The secondary product that it replaces, is usually 10 x more expensive than the first, and it won't be necessary. What would you do with this idea?
